4 STYLES:

• " C " basic;
• " RC " Black reflective;
• " YC " Yellow hi-viz;
• " P " Yellow + reflective strips.

This model is approved by TUV Rheinland in Germany according to EN1621-4:2013 (European standard for airbag vests for CE marking).

To meet the requirements of this standard, the MLV2 has some new features and the details are as below.

Colours and Sizes
Attached are some files for available sizes, colours and some other information.

MLV2-C colours (Red and Blue) will be available by Special Order

If the vest is to be worn over an existing jacket, then choose ONE EU size greater than your bare body size.
If this brings the EU size greater than L, then Extension Buckles will be required to enlarge the vest. (See Accessories to add to your Order)

Side, and Chest protectors are available and recommended if working alongside your horse.

CO2 cartridge: supplied with one CO2 cartridge fitted. Purchasers are recommended to add 1 or 2 spare CO2 cartridges with your Order.

BUCKLE EXTENDERS are available as an Accessory. These will increase the size of the Vest 1-3 sizes.

New Keybox
The MLV2 has a new keybox as below :

The existing keybox has a hollow needle inside and the CO2 gas from the cartridge goes through the hollow part,
but the new keybox construction has a wider channel to deliver air (gas) from the cartridge to the airbags and the needle is not hollow.

Because of this change, the inflating speed is faster and the needle is more durable.

As a caution, the new keybox must not be activated without the cartridge set.

There is unlikely to be a situation to activate the vest without the cartridge, but the following warning label is located in the vest.
The same thing is written in the manual.

In another difference, the new keybox doesn't have the Slide Cover (Red guard).

The setting bolt and the CO2 cartridge (50cc/60cc) for the new keybox are the same as the existing keybox.

Built-in Back protector
The MLV2 has a built-in back protector inside.

Because of the combination with the back protector, the airbag offers a higher level of protection which is required by the European standard (EN1621-4:2013).

CE marking label
The MLV2 has the new CE marking label as below.

The label contains manufacturing date which is required by the standard (EN1621-4).

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT ALL OWNERS HAVE 1 or 2 SPARE CO2 CARTRIDGES FOR THEIR VEST.

NOTE: SIZES M and L use a 60cc CO2 Cartridge. The SIZE S uses a 50cc CO2 cartridge
